More info: The purpose of this training is to update Caritas Member Organisations on the evolutions and new challenges in the area of migrant domestic workers. The goals of the training are to:

• To improve the knowledge on domestic migrant workers and the consequences in the countries of origin.


• To familiarise ourselves with the international and European legal framework and their rights as both workers and as migrants.


• To discuss the different actions/ campaigns that are currently ongoing


• To compare positive experiences  in areas such as;
  
  
  
  • Direct intervention with workers
  
  
  • Undertaking a mediator role between workers and employers
  
  
  • Sensitisation of the issues at hand
