Caritas Europa Summer University 9-13 July 2012

Caritas Europa and Caritas Germany have jointly produced the publication "Volunteer, make a Difference! Momentum from 2001+10." by Eugen Baldas, Rainer A. Roth, and Jorge Nuño-Mayer.

Based on the long experience in volunteering of Caritas organisations across Europe, the book discusses the background, primary concerns and foundational aspects of the “Year of the Volunteer – 2011” in English and German.

Its several comprehensive articles address the goals of the volunteer year. Practical examples from twelve countries provide insight into successful, volunteer endeavours, and relevant ideas and opinions focus on project sustainability.
