Advocacy Working Group on Asylum and Migration

The Caritas Europa Advocacy Working group on Asylum and Migration is composed of 11 migration experts from our member organisations. They all work in and have considerable experience in the field of migration in their respective countries.  The Working group members are nominated individually and do not represent their organisation. The Caritas Europa Executive Board ensures that there is a balanced representation of the diversity of the network within the overall Working group composition.

The Working Group is responsible for the creation, implementation and monitoring of the realisation of mid-term and annual Caritas Europa work plans on Migration, asylum and integration.

Asylum and Migration Policy and Advocacy Officer

Caritas Europa Asylum and Migration Policy and Advocacy Officer is based at the Secretariat in Brussels, works on advocacy on the EU and Council of Europe level and supports the work of the Migration Working group. The Secretariat ensures that there is a cohesion between the work of the Working group for the specific priority and the work of the Working groups in other priority areas. The Secretariat also acts as representative and resource personal to the WG especially with regard to collecting and sharing of information on the European level.
