Caritas Czech presents annual report of the project:
”Prevention of Illegal Migration from Ukraine to Czech Rep. and Assistance in Creation of an Asylum Infrastructure”.
Sponsored by the Czech Republic Ministry of the Internal Affairs, and implemented by Caritas Czech, this project started back in 1999 and will finish at the end of 2006.
The project aims at decreasing the potential for antisocial and pathological behaviour of disadvantaged groups in Ukraine as well as decreasing the use of methods of illegal migration to other countries, by those groups. In order to achieve its aiming, the project mainly focused on strengthening the groups’ social, material, civil and legal background on multiple levels.
The identified disadvantaged groups are:
