 1. Caritas Europa

  • EAPN
Eastern Partnership initiative was built up in the frame of the European Neighbourhood Policy for the EU’s Eastern neighbouring countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The participation of Belarus in this program depends more or less on the political situation in the country and the further development of the relations between EU and Belarus.

  • ERSO
Cooperation between 11 European Reintegration Support Organisations (including Caritas Europa, Caritas Austria, Caritas Bulgaria, and Caritas Belgium) that aims to offer voluntary returnees:
    • Impartial counselling before departure
    • Information about reintegration possibilities in the CoR before return
    • Tailor-made reintegration assistance and monitoring after return through partners in the countries of return

  • Development and Migration
Caritas Europa collaborates with the Caritas network in the North and the South to improve awareness on the connection between Development and Migration, within the European region and as a global fenomena

  • Caritas Europa - ECRE: NGO Network of Integration Focal Points

    • Advocate for better integration policies and practices for refugees and migrants in Europe
    • Formulate recommendations and action points for integration of refugees and migrants based on the experiences of NGOs and refugees/migrants themselves
    • Act as a counter-part in civil society to the National Contact Points for Integration established by the European Commission in 2003
    • Monitor and respond to the implementation of government’s actions on integration in the light of the Common Basic Principles on Integration
    • Share experiences of good practice in the field of integration of refugees and migrants

  • Christian Action and Networking Against Trafficking in Women (CAT)
Every year, the UNOSCE and the European Commission estimate that 500,000 to 700,000 women and children are trafficked around the world each year. Trafficking is truly a global phenomenon, and global strategies are therefore necessary to combat it.
Caritas Europa and the Churches' Commission for Migrants in Europe (CCME), together with its members, initiated networking activities within the CAT project

  • Christian Organisations Against Trafficking in Women (COATNET)
COATNET is an international platform for communication and exchange of good practices in combating trafficking in human beings. It promotes international cooperation for adequate response and optimum transnational assistance.
