Other areas covered by the MOU are support for e-inclusion community training projects run by Caritas organisations at the national level and a cooperation at the EU level where pertinent issues warrant a coordinated approach between Caritas Europa and Microsoft.

Caritas Europa’s mandate as a European non-governmental organisation is to assist its member organisations across Europe through appropriate capacity building, advocacy and agenda setting initiatives. 

Microsoft desires to increase the impact of its community investments in contributing to social, economic and digital inclusion globally through working together with NGOs and other relevant actors.

The MOU will help Caritas Europa and Microsoft to effectively pursue their individual aims while developing interesting synergies in view of mutual benefits and a greater potential for both organisations.
