Caritas Europa Annual Meeting on Communications and Fundraising held in Zagreb


Brussels, 09 June 2008 - Caritas Europa held its Annual Meeting on Communications and Fundraising in Zagreb on 5-6 June 2008. The event was co-organised and hosted by Caritas Croatia.

Since its first edition in 2004, the popularity of this event has been steadily growing. The gathering offers an excellent opportunity to persons  responsible for media and fundraising across the Caritas Europa network to come together and interact with each other.

This year's meeting included a presentation on communication and fundraising challenges in Croatia and a contribution by an expert on marketing and fundraising for non-profit organisations.

Participants also worked on the preparation of 2010 as the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion.

The next edition of the meeting will be held in Vienna (Austria).
